The family were having a fun-filled day swimming at a beach Okinawa Island in southern Japan, where her husband U.S. Air Force Doctor Capt. Hyrum Bronson was stationed. He had been away in Afghanistan for six months at the time this video was recorded and was scheduled to be coming home in three weeks.

While they were swimming around in the water, a family friend suggested that they film a video and send it to daddy knowing that he would be home in 3 weeks.
